The Wagner's choose their best barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley to produce their Special Selection, ageing them in mostly new French oak for 16-18 months. Distinguished by extremely fine, velvety tannins and enjoyable upon release, the 2018 is a wine of structure, intense concentration, with supple flavors and dark fruits. Robert Parker has commented "Caymus has one of the most enviable track records of any California winery.
