One of our most classic French reds, the Domaine des Billards has been in the Barbet and Teissier families since the mid-18th Century. Situated at the mid-point of the sloping vineyards of Saint Amour, the most northerly Cru of Beaujolais, farming is very natural with no use of herbicides or other agrochemicals. A bit more extracted and rich, Domaine des Billards utilizes a special technique that adds structure and depth. A soft, fruity and floral red, the Saint Amour has aromas of red fruit, peony, peach, kirsch and spice.
